Waxing Licensure Course

The practice of waxing provides services to enhance the appearance of the face, neck, arms, legs or shoulders by removing the hair using depilatories, wax or tweezing. This course of study is a New York State approved curriculum and prepares you for the written licensing exam. (75 Hour Program)

Employment Outlook

Individuals with a NYS Waxing Specialist License can work as a Hair Removal Specialist at Salons, Waxing Centers, Spas, Medical Centers and more. E1B provides career coaching, resume writing assistance, networking/branding advice and interview preparation support.
