
Rough Carpentry
This Carpentry Fundamentals program provides hands-on trade training focused on the core skills used on real job sites. Students learn to safely operate hand and power tools, measure and cut lumber accurately, select and handle building materials, and assemble common carpentry joints. Instruction covers wall and floor framing, basic blueprint reading, trim and finish carpentry, and introductory cabinet and furniture construction. Training is practical and skills-driven, emphasizing proper technique, efficiency, and safety standards used in the construction industry. This program prepares students with the foundational carpentry skills required for entry-level work in the skilled trades. (80 Hour Program)
